My hands crack every winter and the lack of essential oils is what sold me, since scented stuff usually makes the redness worse. Two weeks in, the splits on my knuckles have mostly closed up and it doesn't sting going on. A little goes a long way too, so the tin is lasting longer than I expected.

I've got eczema-prone skin and most salves sting on contact, but this one goes on completely neutral since there are no essential oils in it. It sinks in within a few minutes and my dry patches stopped flaking after about a week of nightly use.
